I finally received the ATCs of WCMD 2014 from Mbak Dwita at Paper Unique! Apparently, I am the 10th winner hehe and It really made my day!

Thanks to Mbak Dwita who had organized the event very well and great to managed almost a hundreds ATC! and thank you to all friends who voted for my card :) I truly appreciate it!

Right now, I'm writing this blog in the dark. My Hindu friends are doing Brata Rituals (one of rituals in Nyepi Day) started earlier this morning from 6.00 AM until tomorrow morning at 6.00 AM. Other rituals called: Amati Geni (no fire or light which also means no electricity), Amati karya (no work), Amati Lelunganan (no travelling or walking on the street) and Amati Lelanguan (fasting and no self-entertainment). I don't celebrate this Nyepi Day but we honor their holy day by following the rules and all activities on this island is closed since yesterday. 

 Below is Nyepi Day card that I made yesterday:

I'd like to wish a Happy Chinese New Year 2566.

May you will be blessed with joy, happiness and prosperity.

Below is the card I made to celebrate this special day.
This card is made by using recycled embellishment which is aluminum foil which I get from my baby daughter's milk can and cork sheet. I hand painted the background with water color.

Embellishment is embossed with cuttlebug, cut manually with scissor and
 sprayed with pylox gold spray paint.
I framed the background with cork sheet and colored it with gold spray paint.

 Sentiment is stamped using Stamped Alphabet (no specific brand) and
colored with chinese water color painting then cut manually with scissors

So that's it, very easy and simple :)

Hope you all had a wonderful day today whether at work or at home! 

Last weekend, I had lovely time with my baby daughter. In one morning she woke up and then said to me that she wanted to go to school :) Well, I wish I could send her to school but since this poor 2-year-old girl cannot go anywhere and stuck with her mom, so I asked her to play alphabet hehe..

So then together we made alphabet banner to put in her bedroom :) I'm glad that she loves making it and really enjoying the process.

The alphabet banner is very simple and easy to make. I only cut the felt using scissor to make the flags and the alphabet. Hand sew the flag and insert the rope to hang it on the wall.

This month is about storing my crafts stuff by using any kind of storage that I have. As you know, my crafts room is not fancy and I promise to keep all my crafts stuff as tidy as I can but with very tiny small budget and the most important thing is to be able to find what I need as quickly and as easy as possible :P

So, I finally have a storage for my ribbons at least for now until I can purchase the best one :) I'm using a SPICE RACK. Well, since I don't use this rack so I think it's best for me to use it as ribbon holder. And the good thing is that is has something like a small bars where I can slip each ribbons into it, and just pull it off whenever I need it. Ofcourse I still have to use my two hands to keep it in place so it doesn't fall out when I pull it. And I think it is also best if you can put a spacer for each ribbons so it doesn't pull off one another OR you can install a small stick to hold the ribbons.

As for my findings.. I have some findings, buttons etc. I decide to use CARTRIDGE STORAGE. I have been collecting this for months which I got from my previous office :) These are cartridge storage from Canon printer. It has small space that fits for small findings.. you can also paint them if you want but I prefer to keep it white. I put them in one container and since it has same sizes I can fill them in one container and put another container on top. The best thing is I can easily get it using my fingers or tweezers would be great too.

And lastly that all of you already know, is I'm using TAPE HOLDER to store my findings too. You can paint it or cover them in paper so it looks more attractive but for me, I just leave them as it is so I can write my finding codes on it and maybe later when I'm in the mood, I will decorate it :)

That's all and I'm off for a little trip to Ubud now with my family.

Hope you're doing fine! Well, you know how much I love to recycle :D So on this lovely morning, I just like to upload my ideas on turning a small envelope into a big envelopes :) Yep, it's very simple hehe.. This is actually very useful for me to press my expense on purchasing big envelopes. Therefore, I have been collecting small envelopes which I got from my friends or families, this way I can also recycle them but still use its function as envelopes :)

I made big envelopes by breaking all small envelopes and use their blank part on the inside. Attached and glued them one by one, depending on how big I want them to be. Making some cut as needed and voila, I got a big envelope hehe.. Ofcourse I can draw this blank parts but I leave it blank so it is easy for me to write down the address. These envelopes are very useful for me if I have to pack big documents. 

You can try this at home too to safe expenses :)

Hello friends!

I hope you are all doing great and had a lovely new year's eve too :)

We have left 2014 almost 20 days ago but I can still feel the new year atmosphere until today! 

Myself, I spent new year's eve with my little family, just sitting on our porch and watching fireworks dancing on the dark and rainy sky.. after that, we all just went to bed hehe..

New year means new opportunity to finish up all plans from the previous years (yes, most of them have been left behind by... myself :P). Plans have been made, goals have been set, it is time for me to test the speed and stomp the gas :) But I'm sure you also have those plans written on your head, book, wall everywhere! And I also believe that you are all busy checking your to-do daily list and focusing on your goals. Anyway, whatever you are doing right now, I wish you best of success and I hope that your dreams and mine will come true this year :)

In this early morning I'd like to upload my newest card for The Cutting Edge Challenge #15. Sadly, this is the first time I have ever participated and will be my last one due they are closing the challenge. 

I have been getting so many inspiration looking at their design teams' creations for the past few months and for that I thank them very much.

To be honest I do not have any dies yet, so for the snow, I'm using aluminum tin foil from my daughter's milk can (a bit of recycling idea). I embossed it with snow embossing folder from Cuttlebug and then cut it manually and protect it with acrylic varnish. As for the colorful background, I'm using leather imitation rope and sequins. For the stamp, I'm using Kaiser Crafts Christmas set.

I would like to share the christmas card that I made recently using cork sheet. I use kraft paper and splashed white acrylic paint for the background. I cut and stamped the cork sheet and glued it on a piece of scrap metallic gold paper. For decoration, I added small bow from a rattan rope.
